About The Position

This position provides instructional and technical assistance to meet the specialized needs of students in Automotive and Culinary programs at Vero Beach High School. The role requires knowledge of techniques and procedures for working with a targeted student population, effective communication skills, and the ability to implement instructional activities. The assistant will also perform clerical responsibilities and operate technology and equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Meet the requirements for the No Child Left Behind Act: a. Two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education; or b. Associate's or higher degree; or c. Knowledge and ability to assist in instruction in core subjects as verified by a rigorous state or local assessment.
Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.
