About The Position

Kids Only Child Care Center, located at Piedmont Crossing, is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to support its preschool program. The Teacher Assistant works closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that promotes young children’s educational, social, emotional, and physical development. The position supports daily classroom activities, curriculum implementation, supervision, and the overall well-being of children in care.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Working toward an Early Childhood Credential or related early childhood education certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and team members.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Piedmont Crossing and to providing exceptional care and learning experiences for children.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare, preschool, or early learning environment.
• Early Childhood Credential.
