About The Position
Treehouse Learning Center LLC is seeking a caring, dependable Teacher Assistant for its Boston Street center in Lynn, Massachusetts. The role supports the lead teacher and helps children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. The position is full-time and in person.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Spanish and English bilingual communication skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass required background screening and meet state licensing requirements.
- Patience, compassion, reliability, and a genuine commitment to working with children.
Nice To Haves
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Previous childcare or educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with daily lessons, classroom routines, and age-appropriate activities.
- Supervise and engage children during learning activities, play, meals, and transitions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
- Communicate professionally with families about children’s daily experiences and progress.
- Support children with different learning and developmental needs so they can participate fully.
- Follow center policies, Massachusetts childcare regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other personal-care needs when required.
