About The Position

This is more than a daycare job: it is an opportunity to learn, grow, thrive, and play while helping children become lifelong learners. Assistant Teachers help ensure children receive daily care in a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized. They develop their ability to observe, assess, and plan for children and to communicate effectively with families. The role includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The work may take place indoors or outdoors and involves engaging in physical activity with children. The posting describes a Monday–Friday work week.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
