About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Teacher Assistants in Rochester, New York, to support K–12 students across a variety of school settings and help create positive, engaging learning experiences. The Teacher Assistant provides instructional and behavioral support to students in individual, small-group, and classroom settings under the direction of a certified teacher. The role assists students with academic, social-emotional, communication, and life skills instruction throughout the school day and supports classroom operations by preparing materials, monitoring student engagement, and reinforcing learning objectives. Teacher Assistants collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. The position offers a consistent school schedule of 37.5 hours per week, paid sick leave, weekly pay, and bonus opportunities. Pay is $21.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Requirements

High school diploma or higher.
Valid New York State Teaching Assistant Certification.
