About The Position

Treehouse Learning Center LLC is seeking a caring, dependable Teacher Assistant for its Boston Street center in Lynn, Massachusetts. The Teacher Assistant supports the lead teacher and helps children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. The role includes assisting with lessons and classroom routines, supervising children throughout the day, communicating with families, supporting diverse learning and developmental needs, and helping with personal care when required. The assistant follows center policies, Massachusetts childcare regulations, and licensing requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Spanish and English bilingual communication skills.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to pass required background screening and meet state licensing requirements.
Patience, compassion, reliability, and a genuine commitment to working with children.

Nice To Haves

An associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
Previous childcare or educational experience.

Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher with daily lessons, classroom routines, and age-appropriate activities.
Supervise and engage children during learning activities, play, meals, and transitions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
Communicate professionally with families about children’s daily experiences and progress.
Support children with different learning and developmental needs so they can participate fully.
Follow center policies, Massachusetts childcare regulations, and licensing requirements.
Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other personal-care needs when required.
