This position is set to begin on July 27th and is scheduled for 40 hours a week. The Floater Teacher Assistant will assist the classroom team in maintaining a safe, healthy, high-quality learning experience and environment that advances the development of the whole child. This role complies with all CPCD policies and procedures, Head Start Performance Standards, Colorado Department of Human Services licensing requirements, and the Colorado Quality Standards for Early Childhood Education Services. The position facilitates a balance of group and individualized experiences to promote the development of school readiness skills as defined by CPCD’s School Readiness Action Plan. The Teacher Assistant Floater will be required to travel among classrooms/sites as directed by the CD Supervisor.
