About The Position
Easterseals Florida is seeking an Assistant Teacher (Floater) to join our team at The School for Limitless Learning. This private school, with its play-based curriculum and inclusive approach to education for children who are neurodiverse or have other related disabilities, represents a significant milestone in our community. The Assistant Teacher (Floater) is dedicated to providing essential support in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children.
Requirements
- National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC) preferred
- Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training in early childhood education
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Assist in recognizing, adapting teaching strategies, and addressing the individual needs of each child
- Collaborate with the lead educator to maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
