About The Position

Easterseals Florida is seeking an Assistant Teacher (Floater) to join their team at The School for Limitless Learning. This private school focuses on a play-based curriculum and an inclusive approach to education for children who are neurodiverse or have other related disabilities. The Assistant Teacher (Floater) is responsible for providing essential support in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children.

Requirements

• Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training in early childhood education
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse clearance

Nice To Haves

• National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment
• Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Assist in recognizing, adapting teaching strategies, and addressing the individual needs of each child
• Collaborate with the lead educator to maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
