About The Position
Challenger School is hiring enthusiastic, energetic Teacher Aides at its California campuses. Teacher Aides run a combination of before- and after-school programs and lunch periods. Depending on the shifts worked, the role may include supervising students on the playground, helping with homework, leading arts and crafts, and assisting with student arrival and departure. Specialized after-school positions, such as chess or foreign language instructors, may occasionally be available. This is a full-time, in-person position at one of the listed Bay Area locations.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Completion of pre-employment assessments within 72 hours of receiving the assessment link, for the application to be considered complete.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and productive school environment.
- Prepare art, crafts, and outside activities.
- Assist students with homework.
- Work patiently with students, parents, and coworkers.
- Run before- and after-school programs and lunch periods.
- Depending on shifts worked, supervise students on the playground and assist with arrival and departure.
