About The Position

The Teacher Aide supports Teachers and Assistant Teachers in achieving Learning Care Group’s safety vision and implementing its Education Value Proposition. The role involves helping provide daily care for children, maintaining a clean, organized, fun, and interactive classroom, and supporting classroom routines such as meals and snacks. Teacher Aides develop skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating with families. The company provides extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Learning Care Group provides early childhood education and childcare programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Its research-based curriculum is intended to support holistic development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment and help prepare children for school and future success.

Requirements

• Meet state licensing requirements for working in a school.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in some capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow state licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Support Teachers and Assistant Teachers by setting up for and cleaning up after breakfast, lunch, and snack.
• Clean and sanitize the classroom as needed.
• Develop the ability to observe and assess children accurately and plan for them.
• Develop the ability to communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
