About The Position

Ascend’s Little Miracles Program is seeking a Part-Time Teacher Aide/ Support Staff to support our community-based preschool program in Antioch serving children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, language, and communication needs. We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Teacher Aide/Support Staff member who enjoys working with children and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role involves helping create a fun, supportive, and engaging classroom while assisting with educational and developmental activities for our kiddos. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact in their community and supporting children during their early developmental years.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children ages 0–5.
• CPR certification.
• Comfortable with diaper changing and assisting with classroom clean-up and daily care routines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children with special needs.
• Bilingual preferred, but not required.
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework preferred.
• At least 6 ECE units preferred, or willingness to enroll after hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Childcare: 1 year preferred.
• Special education: 1 year preferred.
