About The Position
Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations. This is an anticipated vacancy for one year only, for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is instructional, 196 days per year, full-time, and benefit-eligible, for the Intermediate grade level (4th-5th Grade).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification OR Valid statement of eligibility
Nice To Haves
- Reading Endorsement preferred.
- Candidates with a Reading Endorsement or who are willing to sign an agreement to earn an endorsement may be prioritized for hiring.
