About The Position

Performs assigned duties of geriatric resident care, activities of daily living, and related tasks at the Nursing Assistant level under the direct supervision of a nurse. The position is part of Redeemer Health’s Nursing Services team and supports residents’ emotional, social, mental health, and spiritual needs while upholding the Health System’s mission and values: Respect, Compassion, Justice, Hospitality, Holistic Approach, Stewardship, and Collaboration.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age, except for participants in a special high school program.
• Successful completion of an 80-hour Nurse Aide Course certified by the State of Pennsylvania.
• Successfully complete the introductory/probationary period.
• Ability to read, write, and take verbal direction.
• Flexibility with scheduling.
• Sensitivity to residents’ emotional, social, mental health, and spiritual needs.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is highly desirable.
