Tax Supervisor
About The Position
The Innovative CPA Group is looking for a Tax Supervisor to join our team in our Worcester, MA location. We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to lead tax engagements, review staff work, and support managers and partners in delivering high-quality client service. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of tax experience
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations
- Proficiency in Excel and tax software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree a plus
- Experience with CCH programs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, to review and manage client financial data; prepare and post journal entries, ensure accuracy of general ledger activity, and support the overall tax compliance and reporting process
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and firm standards
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of associates
- Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines
- Communicate directly with clients and manage expectations
- Assist with tax planning strategies and research
