About The Position

Education at Work (E@W) is hiring college students to work as Seasonal Tax Specialists for Intuit (TurboTax) this tax season. This internship offers the opportunity to make money, build skills, and help people stress less about taxes. Interns will work one-on-one with customers answering questions and guiding them through their tax returns. The role is ideal for problem solvers who like helping people and want an internship that makes them stand out with future employers.

Requirements

• Must live in the U.S.
• Enrolled in a degree-granting college program.
• 18 years or older.
• The ability to get your Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) - (requires that you have filed at least one year of your personal taxes).

Nice To Haves

• Basic tax knowledge is helpful but not required—we’ll train you!

Responsibilities

• Connect with TurboTax customers virtually via video chat.
• Provide tax advice and full-service tax return prep.
• Answer product and software questions.
• Assist with tax calculations and break things down in simple, easy-to-understand language.
• Create positive customer experiences by being empathetic, patient, and confident.
• Use trusted resources (government sites, training tools, and your team) to make sure customers get accurate, clear answers.
• Follow company policies to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns.
• Document your customer interactions with Intuit's proprietary AI system.
