About The Position

The Sales Specialist Associate will report directly to the Head of Americas Tax Solutions Sales, joining a fast-paced, innovative team of tax solutions sales specialists providing clients with valuable insights, solutions and services to comply with various tax regulations around the globe. This role is responsible for revenue growth and commercial execution for the S&P Global Tax Solutions suite of software and services within the US Midwest and NY area. The specialist will prospect new potential clients, cross-sell/up-sell, and manage existing Midwest/NY buy-side and corporate clients, becoming a trusted expert and leading key account strategy for clients in this region. Collaboration with various internal teams is crucial for identifying new targets and opportunities, as well as driving cross-selling, upselling, and renewal opportunities to deliver long-term client value.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of enterprise software and services sales experience
  • Proven record of delivering 100%+ of assigned new business and renewal quotas
  • Demonstrated success supporting hybrid revenue streams
  • Strong financial acumen, client prospecting/pipeline management, negotiation experience and CRM discipline
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Right to Work Requirements: This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
  • We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

  • Salesforce CRM, SalesLoft, LinkedIn for sales and Copilot experience preferred
  • Background in Tax, Tax Technology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth and Commercial Execution: Delivery on US Midwest and NY area strategy and revenue growth for S&P Global Tax Solutions suite of software and services
  • Prospect new potential clients, cross-sell/up-sell and manage existing Midwest/NY buy side and corporate clients
  • Lead key account strategy for clients within the US Midwest and NY Buyside
  • Become a trusted expert for clients and internal partners to help best qualify and close on new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Specialists, Divisional Account Management, Chief Client Office, Product, Marketing and Commercial teams to help identify new prospective targets and opportunities.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Commercial teams to drive cross-selling, upselling, and renewal opportunities, delivering long-term client value.
