Requirements
- Active CPA or EA license or at least 2 parts passed of either exam.
- Minimum 3 years of recent public accounting experience
- Strong understanding of tax compliance and accounting principles
- Proficient with tax and accounting software such as QuickBooks, UltraTax, CCH, or similar.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
- Someone who values attention to detail, family values, and professional growth
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, business, and trust tax returns
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and bookkeeping for clients as needed
- Support clients with tax planning and correspondence with tax authorities
- Mentor junior staff and review their work
- Participate in client meetings and build trusted relationships
