Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • Active CPA license required
  • 2–4 years of public accounting tax experience
  • Experience with individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
  • Strong technical tax knowledge and research abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to exceptional client service and professional growth

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and pass-through entity tax returns
  • Identify proactive tax planning opportunities for clients
  • Research tax issues and assist with developing strategic recommendations
  • Stay current on tax law changes and emerging planning opportunities
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality work within established deadlines
  • Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted resource
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and planning opportunities
  • Provide exceptional service through responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Assist with client meetings and advisory engagements
  • Mentor and support staff accountants and interns
  • Assist with training and development initiatives
  • Review work and provide constructive feedback when appropriate
  • Contribute to a team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement
  • Participate in networking events and community involvement activities
  • Develop business and relationship-building skills
