Tax Senior Associate - Nonprofit
About The Position
Cherry Bekaert is hiring a Senior Associate for its Not-for-Profit Tax team. The role provides tax compliance and consulting services to clients, including work related to protecting their tax-exempt status. The Senior Associate prepares and/or reviews returns for exempt organizations and their taxable affiliates, including Forms 990 and 1120, and contributes project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. The position also involves leading and developing tax staff, consulting with market and Firm leaders, and networking within the community and client industries. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Ability to obtain the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation; active licensure is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in public accounting.
- Experience providing tax services to tax-exempt organizations.
- Eligibility to work in the United States; work sponsorship is not provided.
