Tax Product Specialist (Remote)

Filed•New York, NY
•$85,800 - $101,400•Remote

About The Position

The Tax Product Specialist owns the transition from a firm signing with Filed to using the product successfully for real work. The role combines tax expertise, customer-facing product demonstrations, group onboarding, training, customer relationship management, and feedback to product and engineering. Specialists typically guide 5 to 10 firms through onboarding and remain their point of contact during the eight-week period that determines whether they succeed. This is a high-paced, high-accountability role in a fully remote company. It involves frequent customer calls, difficult conversations, and helping tax professionals understand product behavior, including when users disagree with system outputs. The work is especially demanding during December and January, with firms needing to complete implementation before a February 1 freeze. The position does not involve signing returns or building a personal client book. Filed describes its culture as high-performance, collaborative, customer-focused, and oriented toward ownership, momentum, and resolving problems. The company brings the whole team together for an offsite every four months.
