About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is hiring seasonal Tax Preparers for tax season, approximately December through April. No tax experience is required; free training is provided. Tax Preparers meet one-on-one with clients to prepare tax returns, provide customer service, learn and use the company’s tax preparation software and process, and help keep the office running smoothly. The role offers flexible scheduling and may suit someone seeking part-time work, a second job, or the opportunity to learn a new skill. PTIN registration is provided.
Requirements
- Dependable and hardworking.
- Comfortable talking with and helping customers.
- Positive, professional attitude.
- Willing to learn and accept coaching.
- Basic computer skills.
- PTIN certification is required; PTIN registration is provided.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in retail, restaurants, hospitality, banking, reception, or another customer-facing role.
