Seasonal Tax Preparer - Nights and Weekends
About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is seeking a friendly, dependable Seasonal Tax Preparer to assist clients during tax season. No tax experience is required; free training is provided. The role involves preparing tax returns with clients, providing professional customer service, learning tax preparation software and processes, and helping keep the office running smoothly. Work is seasonal, approximately December through April, with flexible scheduling that may suit part-time work or a second job. PTIN registration is provided. Most Jackson Hewitt locations are operated by independent franchisees, which are the exclusive employers and make their own employment decisions and policies.
Requirements
- Dependable and hardworking.
- Comfortable talking with and helping customers.
- Positive, professional attitude.
- Willing to learn and accept coaching.
- Basic computer skills.
- PTIN certification is required; PTIN registration is provided.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in retail, restaurants, hospitality, banking, reception, or other customer-facing roles can be a good fit; applicants from all backgrounds are welcome.
