Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 3-5 years in a professional office environment - public accounting experience is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with CCH Axcess Software and ELF Electronic Filing System preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and professional email communication
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Collaborative team player with clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to commit extra hours during peak tax season when the team needs it

Nice To Haves

  • Public accounting experience is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with CCH Axcess Software and ELF Electronic Filing System preferred

Responsibilities

  • E-file federal and state tax returns and extensions
  • Process, collate, and send finalized tax returns to clients
  • Scan and manage tax documents and e-file authorization forms
  • Set up and maintain client files throughout the year
  • Assist with tax organizers and preparation for the next filing season
  • Provide administrative and tracking support during busy tax seasons
  • Serve as backup support for general business functions (reception, scanning, filing)
