Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field such as Finance, Business, or Economics.
CPA certification (MBT is a plus but not required).
4-6 years of tax experience.
Strong technical tax consulting skills.
Leadership abilities in coaching, mentoring, and directing staff.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
Proven success in business development and marketing.

Responsibilities

Perform technical tax reviews and approvals of tax returns.
Lead and delegate tax research and tax planning projects.
Actively participate in client meetings and tax strategy development.
Serve as a resource to staff and address complex tax issues.
Communicate key tax updates to both the internal team and clients.
Manage, train, and mentor staff, providing performance feedback and guidance.
Ensure efficient and timely delivery of tax projects, meeting productivity goals.
Stay informed on economic and legislative changes impacting the tax landscape.
Achieve business development goals by marketing firm services to current and prospective clients.
