About The Position

BeachFleischman is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Tax Manager to join its growing Real Estate team. The role provides comprehensive tax planning and compliance services and requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulatory requirements. BeachFleischman is Arizona's largest locally-owned public accounting firm and one of the Top 200 largest CPA firms in the United States, with offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Nogales, Phoenix, and Tucson, Arizona. The firm provides accounting, assurance, tax, and advisory services to domestic and international businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent degree as determined by the management committee.
CPA license.
6 to 9 years of experience in public accounting.
Experience working with and consulting with clients in the Real Estate industry.
Ability to use and train others on complex tax systems, including CCH Axcess, Caseware, and time and billing software.
Ability to supervise, teach, mentor, and lead others.
Proficiency in tax and accounting research, including knowledge of firm reference resources.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete advanced-level tax compliance and planning.
Review the preparation of complex individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns.
Control multiple engagements and recognize additional service opportunities for existing clients.
Supervise, mentor, evaluate, train, and serve as a resource to professional staff.
Supervise tax projects such as structuring, planning, projections, and research without supervision.
Demonstrate commitment to beginning practice development.
Perform other accounting services and duties as assigned.
