About The Position

BeachFleischman is seeking a proactive, self-motivated Tax Manager to join its growing Real Estate team. The role provides comprehensive tax planning and compliance services and requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulatory requirements. BeachFleischman is Arizona's largest locally owned public accounting firm and is among the 200 largest CPA firms in the United States. It has offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Nogales, Phoenix, and Tucson, Arizona, and provides accounting, assurance, tax, and advisory services to domestic and international businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or an equivalent degree as determined by the management committee.
CPA license required.
Six to nine years of experience in public accounting.
Experience working with and consulting with clients in the Real Estate industry.
Ability to use complex tax systems, including CCH Axcess and Caseware, and train others on them.
Ability to supervise, teach, mentor, and lead others.
Proficiency in tax and accounting research, including knowledge of firm reference resources.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete advanced-level tax compliance and planning.
Review the preparation of complex individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns.
Control multiple engagements and recognize additional service opportunities for existing clients.
Supervise, mentor, evaluate, train, and serve as a resource to professional staff.
Supervise tax projects, including structuring, planning, projections, and research, as appropriate and without supervision.
Demonstrate commitment to beginning practice development.
Perform other accounting services and duties as assigned.
