About The Position

Red Bike Advisors is a 100% virtual tax, accounting, and advisory firm that helps healthcare practice owners and growing service businesses achieve financial freedom. We are seeking a Tax Manager to manage a significant book of tax business, ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of all services, and maintain high client satisfaction. The role emphasizes tax planning, where the Tax Manager will analyze client numbers to identify opportunities for wealth building and practice growth, creating 'Tax Savings Blueprints'. The position is fully remote and U.S.-based, offering a flexible schedule with core hours, and reports directly to the CEO.

Requirements

Hold an active CPA or EA license.
Have 6+ years in public accounting.
Have led and developed a tax team.
Know individual, corporate, and partnership tax.
Know when a return is done, and ship it.
Can explain tax to a practice owner in plain English.

Responsibilities

Own a multi-million dollar book of tax business.
Deliver every job on time and on budget.
Keep clients thrilled with the work.
Ensure all tax returns are filed correctly and on time.
Conduct tax planning by sitting down with practice owners, digging into their numbers, and finding opportunities.
Create Tax Savings Blueprints to guide clients on how they pay themselves, grow their practice, and build wealth.
Complete reviews within 3 days.
Deliver returns within 2 weeks.
Create a Tax Savings Blueprint for every eligible client.
Conduct year-end planning meetings with every applicable client before December 31.
Coach a preparer team to spot planning opportunities on every return.
