About The Position

Likewize is searching for a talented and driven Tax Manager to join us at our corporate headquarters in Southlake, Texas. In this role, you’ll be integral to ensuring our income tax accounting and compliance are running smoothly — especially when it comes to U.S. international tax, ASC 740, and transfer pricing. We’re on the lookout for someone who brings strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative, team player mindset. Requirements

  • A Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, paired with 5+ years of progressive corporate income tax experience (ideally across both public accounting and industry)
  • Working knowledge of ASC 740 and key U.S. international tax areas (GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, FTCs, BEAT) or a desire to learn and grow experience into these areas
  • Proficiency with Excel and comfortable working with global tax provision tools (OneSource, CorpTax) and ERP systems like NetSuite or Oracle — you know your way around the tech that keeps tax running
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to dive deep into details
  • A clear, confident communicator with project‑management skills that keep teams aligned — even across global time zones
  • Someone who thrives in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments and can juggle multiple priorities with ease

Nice To Haves

  • CPA and/or Master in Tax — bonus points for those who’ve leveled up their expertise
  • CorpTax Provision Experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the US international quarterly/annual tax provision and keep everything ASC 740‑compliant.
  • Work with international teams to review foreign tax provisions each quarter.
  • Review tax accounts, temporary differences, uncertain positions, and valuation allowances.
  • Partner with external reporting team on footnote disclosures and audits.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with controls for all tax accounting processes.
  • Prepare key U.S. international tax calculations (GILTI, Subpart F, BEAT, FTCs).
  • Team up with third‑party providers on outsourced U.S. international compliance (5471, 8858, 1118, and more).
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and planning.
  • Manage OECD Pillar Two and CbC reporting compliance.
  • Participate in tax planning projects including restructuring, cash repatriation planning, and cash tax optimization.
  • Support international teams on foreign compliance and audits as needed.
  • Stay ahead of new tax law (like OECD Pillar Two) and what it means for the business.
  • Work with FP&A, accounting, legal, and global teams to make sure tax impacts are front and center in business decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in global tax reporting, data systems, and automation—always looking for smarter, more efficient processes.
