Lucas Horsfall is seeking Tax Interns based out of our Pasadena headquarters starting the Spring of 2027. The ideal candidates will be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field at an accredited four-year college or university. Tax Interns will have the opportunity to work on a variety of engagements in various industry niches. Assist in the preparation of tax extensions, returns and other filing requirements. Perform tax research, review documents, draft memos on tax and respond to requests. Engage and participate in internal tax trainings. Effectively communicate to keep seniors and managers updated with engagement progress. Shadow different levels of staff to get a better understanding of a career at Lucas Horsfall.
Requirements
- Current senior or Master’s student (dependent on 4 or 5 year curriculum) in an accounting or tax program
- Solid communication, interpersonal skills and strong organization, attention to detail and problem solving are a must
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Availability to work minimum 20 hours a week
