This is a seasonal part-time position, providing administrative and accounting support for the preparation of clients’ tax returns, bookkeeping, and associated systems.

Requirements

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Accounting, with a demonstrated interest in tax, or a graduate student actively pursuing an advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation.
• Completion of individual or business tax courses at an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• General software and computer hardware skills is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.
• Possesses professionalism and judgment.
• Thrives in a collaborative, team-player office environment.
• Dependable, honest, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good analytical, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Effectively work with new and changing situations.

Nice To Haves

• Adobe Acrobat experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of individual and business income tax returns, including data entry, document management, basic tax research, and other associated tasks.
• Support the development of accurate and appropriate recording of clients’ revenues and expenses through the use of industry appropriate and authorized AI tools.
• Maintain client confidentiality, adhere to privacy and data security standards, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
