Campus 2028 Summer Tax Intern
About The Position
Frazier & Deeter’s Summer Tax Intern will gain real-world public accounting experience while working with clients ranging from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Interns are treated as members of engagement teams and operate as associates on engagements, developing hands-on skills and learning what public accounting looks like in practice. The internship offers varied, fast-paced work and exposure to a wide range of clients and industries. Interns collaborate with professionals at all levels, receive ongoing constructive feedback, attend training, and participate in firm social events. Each intern is also paired with a buddy who provides guidance and helps them navigate the firm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns.
- Communicate with tax authorities.
- Draft memos.
- Attend client meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues across levels on client matters.
- Participate in ongoing discussions to share ideas, ask questions, and receive feedback.
- Attend training sessions to strengthen technical knowledge and learn how to serve clients.
- Participate in firm social events.
- Work with an internship buddy for guidance and support.
