About The Position
As a Tax Intern, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and the global tax landscape while supporting teams delivering tailored tax services. You will learn PwC’s methodologies, participate in projects, perform basic tasks, observe professional work environments, and develop your personal brand. In General Tax Consulting, you will help provide tax advice and planning strategies to businesses, navigate tax regulations, optimize tax positions, and minimize risks. The role emphasizes learning, considering diverse perspectives, active listening, gathering information, analyzing facts, and identifying patterns. The position is based in New York and is for Summer 2028. Travel requirements are up to 20%. The salary range is $29.25–$48.00; actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Have at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
- Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.
