About The Position
Frazier & Deeter’s Tax Intern gains practical public accounting experience as a member of client engagement teams. Interns work with clients ranging from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 companies and operate as associates on engagements. The internship offers exposure to varied clients and industries, hands-on experience, constructive feedback, and support for personal and professional growth. The role includes a mix of tax assignments and opportunities to work with professionals at all levels. Interns receive training, participate in discussions and firm social events, and are paired with a buddy who helps them navigate the firm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns.
- Communicate with tax authorities.
- Draft memos.
- Attend client meetings.
- Collaborate with professionals across levels, from associates to partners, on client matters.
- Discuss work with colleagues, share ideas, ask questions, and receive feedback.
- Attend training sessions to strengthen technical knowledge and learn how to serve clients.
- Participate in firm social events.
- Learn from and consult with an assigned internship buddy.
