About The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with sophisticated transactional tax experience to work on complex matters involving mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and international transactions. The role is with a leading Am Law 50 firm in Chicago and offers hybrid work flexibility.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of tax experience
  • Experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, international transactions, or a combination of these areas
  • Experience providing tax guidance in connection with sophisticated corporate transactions
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent and ongoing matters
  • High level of motivation, initiative, and problem-solving ability
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and organizational skills
  • High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Nice To Haves

  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred, but not required

Responsibilities
