Tax and Audit Associate - Spring 2027 - Dallas, TX
About The Position
CLA's Dallas, TX location is seeking Tax/Audit Associates. This role involves preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns, as well as performing audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services. The associate will gain experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems. The position supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifies issues, and communicates progress. The role also involves expanding industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training, and completing research and special projects as needed. Effective communication with clients and CLA team members is essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
- General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
