About The Position
Public accounting firm is seeking an accountant experienced in personal and business income tax returns. This is a full time remote position, OR in office in Beaumont, 2,080-2,400 hours a year.
Requirements
- 4-5 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Software experience in CCH Axcess Tax software along with CCH Engagement, Sage 50, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary.
- Must be a CURRENT Texas or Louisiana resident at time of application and hire in.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card.
Nice To Haves
- Aspiring CPA is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of intermediate to complex business and personal tax returns.
- Preparation of compiled financial statements.
