About The Position

Southern Company Services is seeking an experienced Task Project Manager III to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and energy-related projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of project or task management experience, preferably in the energy or utility industry.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience managing engineering, construction, or utility projects.
• Knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects and project tasks from planning through completion.
• Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate resources, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate project status and key updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
