About The Position

Southern Nuclear is seeking an experienced Project Manager III with 10–15 years of project management experience to lead complex engineering and capital projects. This senior-level role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and drive project success in a fast-paced environment. Nuclear power plant experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 10–15 years of project management experience leading complex engineering or industrial projects.
• Proven success managing large-scale projects from initiation through completion.
• Strong leadership, communication, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Nice To Haves

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Advanced project management certifications.
• Experience in nuclear power generation or highly regulated industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and execution strategies.
• Manage project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
