About The Position

The Sunny, a Curio Collection by Hilton, is a 340-room oceanfront hotel in Sunny Isles Beach with multiple dining concepts and a strong food and beverage program. The Task Force Sous Chef will collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The role includes communicating daily with the Executive Chef about planning, staffing, and internal procedures; completing food requisitions and daily specials; and assisting with hiring, training, and coaching team members. The Sous Chef will also contribute to menu development, manage inventory, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure dishes are prepared to perfection. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
Knowledge of a variety of culinary techniques and cuisines.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage inventory, including ordering and receiving products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.

Nice To Haves

College degree or certification in a culinary or hospitality field preferred.
Experience in a hotel or resort setting preferred.
