About The Position

The Taproom Assistant Manager will support the Taproom Manager in leading the taproom team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain efficient operations, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. The Assistant Manager will focus on team support, excellent customer service, effective communication, and adherence to company standards and expectations.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of experience in taproom setting or equivalent with an emphasis on team leadership and/or supervisor role.
Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound judgments.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Desire and ability to become an expert in the field.

Communicate effectively with the Taproom Manager and other team members.
Keep the team informed about changes to policies, operations, and events.
Assist the Taproom Manager in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
Support the training and onboarding of new team members.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards are maintained.
Address performance issues with guidance and support from the Taproom Manager.
Assist in ensuring the taproom has the necessary supplies to run efficiently.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained taproom environment.
Assist in coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
Support inventory management and ordering processes.
