About The Position

The Taproom Assistant Manager will support the Taproom Manager in leading the taproom team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain efficient operations, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. The Assistant Manager will focus on team support, excellent customer service, effective communication, and adherence to company standards and expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in taproom setting or equivalent with an emphasis on team leadership and/or supervisor role.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound judgments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Desire and ability to become an expert in the field.

  • Engage with all educational resources, beer release information, event information, and lineup note information that is provided.
  • Ensure that staff are well-informed and up to date on all relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with the Taproom Manager and other team members.
  • Keep the team informed about changes to policies, operations, and events.
  • Assist the Taproom Manager in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
  • Support the training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Address performance issues with guidance and support from the Taproom Manager.
  • Assist in ensuring the taproom has the necessary supplies to run efficiently.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained taproom environment.
  • Assist in coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Support inventory management and ordering processes.
