Tanker/Hazmat Truck Driver OTR
About The Position
Experienced CDL-A Tanker/Hazmat Drivers Needed – Earn $2,200–$2,400 weekly. This is a 1099 contractor position based out of Chicago. Drivers will operate 2024-2026 Volvo, Kenworth, Freightliner, or Peterbilt trucks equipped with a fridge, microwave, and inverter. The trailer is a 48ft Reefer, hauling hazardous liquids with no-touch freight and live loads. Routes cover the Midwest, East Coast, and South. Drivers can expect to be on the road for 2-3 weeks at a time, with 2-3 days off, and have the option to take the truck home. Pay is $0.80/mile for all miles (empty & loaded), with additional pay for detention, layover, and extra stops. Safety bonuses and cash advances are available. Pay is scheduled Monday to Monday, with paychecks every Friday via direct deposit. Quick onboarding is available, with the possibility to start the next day.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A
- Valid medical card
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL-A experience
- X Endorsement (Hazmat)
Responsibilities

- Maintain the truck and trailer in good working condition.
