About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Tamil teacher for a one-to-one General Tamil course in Oshawa. The student is a beginner and wishes to have classes at the teacher's office in the Ajax, Whitby, Pickering, or Scarbrough area. The course will be 40 hours long, with classes of two hours held three times per week. The client is available Monday to Friday between 1pm and 4pm and wishes to start as soon as possible. The student's motivation is to communicate with her Tamil-speaking husband's family and teach her children to do the same.

Requirements

• Be a native Tamil speaker OR hold a teaching degree.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid working visa.
• Live up to 20 miles from the client's location.
• Be able to start as soon as possible.
• Submit a CV with references.
