About The Position

Jaxon is looking for a full-time Talent Success (HR) Coordinator to work at its headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will report to the HR Manager and will join a growing team of HR professionals at Jaxon dedicated to delivering the best service, experience, and support to the business and its people. Jaxon is the leading full-service provider of High-altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) services worldwide, delivering world-class engineering, testing, construction, and sustainment services. Requirements

  • Strong communication background with an emphasis on corporate and interpersonal communication
  • Must have strong conflict resolution skills
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of managing a diverse and rapid workflow
  • 1+ years' experience with administrative office tasks desired
  • 1+ years’ experience recruiting in a professional environment, including remote and in-person interviews, strongly preferred
  • 1+ years' of HR experience strongly preferred
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in HR, business, or another related field strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Schedules and manages recruitment calls and stakeholder calendars with minimal mistakes
  • Conducts interviews without creating risk for company
  • Demonstrates good discernment in vetting talent (i.e., talent can pass background checks, is qualified for interviewed role, etc.)
  • Communicates proactively with hiring manager, HR manager, and other stakeholders during the hiring process
  • Familiar with company HRIS and can manipulate data and fields as necessary
  • Processes requests for changes without error and ensuring process goes through appropriate channels
  • Maintains, audits, and updates employee personnel files as necessary
  • Schedules new hires for onboarding meetings without error
  • Provides overview of Employee handbook and benefits to new hires
  • Roll out information on new hires to company
  • Manages and understands I-9 requirements for new hires
  • Communicates as necessary with vendors and employees to resolve benefits questions, requests, and issues
  • Appropriately escalates benefits-related issues to management and leadership
  • Strives to learn about compliance requirements at the state and federal level
  • Aids HR Manager in keeping company compliant
  • Never incorrectly distributes or shares sensitive information
  • Understands PHI and PII and how and where these different types of information can be shared, stored, and collected
  • Always approaches communication with employees about personal matters with empathy, respect, and discretion
