This role involves developing, implementing and / or maintaining recruitment and other employment and sourcing programs and policies. Provides advice and counsel on employment practices and recruitment processes. Also includes partnering with TEP manager on ad-hoc projects pertaining to innovation and information management. The Talent Partner will use employment and staffing techniques and concepts for employment, sourcing programs, and policies for the organization. Employment and search efforts are diverse and complex in scope, where analyses of situations require a review of variety of factors. This Talent Partner will identify and present qualified candidates for professional level positions. General direction will normally be provided on all staffing and employment assignments. The Talent Partner will use considerable judgment and discretion to determine appropriate action, and work with senior internal and external contacts. The Talent Partner will work closely with the TEP Manager on various projects pertaining to developing and enhancing systems, technology and innovation projects, and ad-hoc initiatives. UCSF's Temporary Employment Program (TEP) recruits and hires temporary employees for immediate clerical and technical support services to UCSF Departments and various off-campus locations. UCSF departments deploy temporary employees to work on special projects, fill in for regular employees who are on vacation or leave, or to temporarily fill a vacant position during recruitment. Frequently temporary employees become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions.
