About The Position

The Talent & Onboarding Specialist supports Heritage Behavioral Health Center’s recruitment operations, ensuring every new hire experiences a seamless and welcoming hiring and onboarding process. Reporting to the Talent & Onboarding Manager, this role provides hands-on coordination across recruitment and onboarding. This position assists with recruiting, scheduling, pre-employment screening, and onboarding logistics, serving as a key point of contact for applicants and new hires. The primary goal is to ensure every new hire experiences a seamless and welcoming hiring and onboarding process.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of administrative, customer service, or HR experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Comfort with applicant tracking systems, HRIS (ADP), and Microsoft Office.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance may be required.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in recruitment, onboarding, or HR.
Experience in healthcare or a nonprofit setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with recruiting and applicant communication.
Coordinate interview scheduling.
Process background checks, drug screens, reference checks, and credential verification.
Maintain recruitment tracking.
Complete employment verifications.
Assist the Talent & Onboarding Manager with recruitment initiatives.
Prepare and process new hire paperwork.
Coordinate orientation and onboarding checklists.
Conduct 30-day onboarding follow-up.
Ensure onboarding tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Perform other duties as assigned consistent with this role.
