About The Position

The Onboarding Coordinator provides candidates with an exceptional candidate experience to ensure smooth onboarding when joining Textron Systems. You will partner with our Talent Acquisition team, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to manage pre-employment activities (e.g. background check, drug screening, exams, reporting, scheduling).

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of Human Resources, Administration, or relative experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
  • Computer Literacy and Digital Curiosity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Applicant Tracking System experience preferred
  • Experiences with process improvement, tech-enabled problem solving, or data management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall onboarding administration
  • Facilitate pre-employment activities like background checks, drug screens, exams and others with finalist candidates and service providers
  • Track candidates’ activities to meet start date deadline
  • Dispatch new hire documents to candidates upon approval
  • Ensure new employee data is entered properly into HR data systems
  • Schedule and support New Hire Orientation
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting as directed by manager
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality
