About The Position

The Talent Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all pre-employment onboarding activities to ensure a seamless, compliant, and positive hiring experience. This role serves as a primary point of contact for new hires and hiring managers, supporting the full onboarding process from offer acceptance through employee start date. Key responsibilities include employment eligibility verification (I-9), background screening, Level 2 fingerprinting, employee badging, access administration, and onboarding compliance. This position partners closely with Human Resources, Security, Information Technology, Employee Health, and department leaders to ensure all new employees are fully prepared for their first day.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business or related field (or equivalent relevant work experience)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources or Employment Office experience in a similar sized organization, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent customer skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of staff and the public, both in person and by telephone
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PC/software applications and word processing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem solve effectively, and maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to satisfactorily manage multiple duties/projects simultaneously
  • Ability to empathize with the needs of new employees and guide them accordingly
