About The Position

Squint is seeking a Talent Lead to establish and lead the company's recruiting function from its inception. This role involves full-cycle recruitment for critical positions, as well as developing the necessary systems, processes, and employer brand to attract top talent in the competitive AI market. The position is a blend of hands-on recruiting and functional architecture.

Requirements

6+ years of recruiting experience, including experience building or scaling a recruiting function at a high-growth startup.
Proven track record of full-cycle recruiting for both technical and go-to-market roles.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with senior leaders.
Familiarity with modern recruiting/ATS tooling (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse).
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build processes from scratch.
Comfort partnering directly with founders and executives on critical hires.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and closing candidates for key roles across Engineering, Go-to-Market, and other departments.
Establish recruiting processes, select and implement tooling (ATS, scorecards, interview training), and define metrics to ensure effective hiring as the company scales.
Collaborate with hiring managers to translate headcount plans into hiring strategies, set hiring standards, and provide coaching to hiring managers and interviewers.
Enhance Squint's employer brand across various platforms and interactions to attract desirable candidates.
Contribute to broader People Operations functions, such as onboarding, systems management, and early performance processes, as the People function develops.
