About The Position

This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact internal role where you will influence talent strategy, hiring decisions, and build long-term candidate relationships for a growing US business. You will partner closely with Ireland HQ, business leadership, and external stakeholders to deliver against hiring priorities and enable long-term scalability. For an experienced agency recruiter, this role offers the chance to move closer to the business, work directly with senior decision-makers, and see the long-term impact of your candidate relationships and market insight. It combines the energy of specialist recruitment with the ownership, stability, and strategic influence of an in-house leadership role. This role is also suited to ambitious in-house Talent Acquisition professionals with a hunter mindset, who enjoy building talent pipelines and influencing organizational growth through exceptional hiring decisions. Based remotely on the US East Coast, this is an excellent opportunity to shape and scale the Talent Acquisition function from an early-stage growth phase, with strong autonomy, leadership visibility, and exposure to strategic decision-making and operational delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related subject
  • Minimum of 8 years’ recruitment experience, ideally including senior agency, specialist search, retained search, or technical recruitment experience within Life Sciences, Pharma/BioTech, engineering, automation, or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience recruiting within engineering, automation and manufacturing sectors
  • Experience gained in an agency or search environment is highly valued, particularly where the candidate has built a strong desk, developed repeat candidate relationships, and delivered against demanding technical hiring requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in Linkedin Recruiter and sourcing tools
  • Experience using recruitment reporting tools and dashboards
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles within the Pharma/BioTech sector.
  • Balance delivery of live vacancies with proactive pipeline development, giving the successful candidate ownership beyond short-term requisition filling.
  • Source, screen and shortlist high-quality candidates aligned to client and business requirements.
  • Ensure excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Build and maintain targeted talent pools aligned to current and future demand.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of engaged candidates, applying the relationship-led discipline of agency recruitment in a long-term in-house setting.
  • Analyse US talent market trends, competitor activity, and skill availability.
  • Engage and nurture passive candidates through targeted outreach.
  • Proactively build market presence through targeted talent engagement strategies, referral-led sourcing, and credible conversations with passive candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with SimoTech recruitment processes and SOPs.
  • Provide clear, business-focused reporting on pipeline strength, candidate engagement, market feedback, hiring risks, and recommended actions.
  • Track and report on pipeline metrics and hiring performance.
